Tranquil Beauty

The Japanese Garden is one of the most beautiful places to visit in Portland, OR, USA. It's located in the West side of the town. It is made up of five different types of gardens, and all of them are so beautiful and peaceful to walk in! I don't really know about crowded days, but when I visited, it was so tranquil and calm, and all I could hear was the sound of singing birds, drops of rain (it was one of Portland's usual rainy days) and water cooling in ponds and mini-waterfalls. I could stay there the whole day!
The garden makes you forget where you came from and all the noise you left downtown. The colors are so beautiful and leaves are so shiny that you have the impression of being in a photoshoped world!! I, honestly, don't know the essence of a Japanese garden, nor do I have an idea of how it is composed and organized, but every plant in it, every waterscape and every stone looks like it's been meticulously designed to reflect the land of origin of those plants and decorations.
